Looking for new interest in your flower garden or outdoor containers? 

Join the Garden Committee on June 6 at 7:00 PM as we welcome Jennifer Smith from the Missouri Botanical Garden.   Jennifer will bring many "samples" of plants that can be used (and purchased) in the garden or container for both sun and shade.   She is a dynamic lady and brings a great knowledge of flowers with her.   No charge, and refreshments will be served.   Bring a friend!

 

 Eyes of Faith

On Sunday, May 21, 2006, the Senior Choir at Holy Cross will present the musical Eyes of Faith. Eyes of Faith uses filmed characters (Simeon, Judas, Mary Magdalene and Peter) with live narration, choir and soloists. These followers of Jesus are interviewed in "TV newsmagazine" style, revealing their insights, feelings and emotional responses to the Easter story. We see how their lives were affected and changed by Jesus, and realize that He is still affecting and changing lives today. The congregation has an opportunity to join by worshipping in song with the choir throughout large sections of the musical. There will be a time for brief discussion following the musical.  Refreshments will be served.  Invite your friends and neighbors.
