FAMILY WALK FOR

LUTHERAN FAMILY & CHILDREN’S SERVICES

OF MISSOURI

Please help us organize a team from Holy Cross for this year’s walk.  It will be held in Forest Park on the upper Muny parking lot.  This fantastic fun event boasts a 3-mile kid-friendly walk route, a 5K competitive run, family games, children’s activities, exhibitor’s booths and FREE refreshments from Dierberg’s.  Holy Cross has been well represented for many years, so let’s make this the best year so far.  In order to accomplish this, we need many walkers and donations.  These donations will again be matched by Thrivent. 

This is a very good cause.  Lutheran Family and Children’s Services provides adoption, foster care, counseling, child day care, youth mentoring and disaster relief.  LFCS provides services to over 21,000 adults and children and the money raised by this event will help all of these programs. 

Let’s give our support to this event by either participation or donations.  The event will be held rain or shine.  There will be a sign up table in the narthex through April 13.  In order to receive a t-shirt, participants need to sign up by March 30.
